Possessive Pronouns | Les pronoms possessifs

Possessive pronouns are used to replace a possessive adjective and a noun.

The pronoun must agree in gender (masculine [m.], feminine [f.]) and in number (singular [s.], plural [pl.]) with the noun it replaces.

Definite articles contract with the prepositions à and de when used before a possessive pronoun.
